![]() ![]() Mine LG signature French door LUPXC2386n purchased in July2019 went out last week - a “not cooling event” as I now learnt from googling it after it died and ruined all the food and found out about this whole class action suit & settlement for 2014-2017 models but mine was made in Jan2019 so it’s outside of the initial class action suit. PLEASE DON'T BUY AN LG - YOU WILL ANGST FOR THAT DECISION. Called LG AGAIN (as always spent the usual 45 min on the phone) to learn LG wants yet another technician to visit and (hopefully) deem the LG refrigerator finally UN-REPAIRABLE.īottom line - yet another technician visit will take a 5th swing at the NO COOLING LG REFRIGERATOR next Monday March 29th 2021, which will be the 5th technician visit to our home and a running total od 31 days with not a working LG refrigerator. Refrigerator & freezer remain at 70 degrees. Yesterday () the 2nd repair service service (cuz the 1st one quit) hired by LG to address the NO COOLING issue did replaced 3 major items compressor (2nd time in 12 days), condenser, and dryer. I've also learned that GE has their own service corporate service group to resolve customer issues fast 'n courteous:-) March 23rd 2021 ~ 25 days without a working LG REFRIGERATOR.ĬONSUMER ALERT: LG DOES NOT HAVE NOR MAINTAIN AN LG SERVICE GROUP - EVERYTHING IS FARMED OUT. I will not be buying a new fridge, TV, anything from LG and will not recommend, and post reviews everywhere that I can for their awful customer service and products. It's unreal how awful, truly awful LG support is. Then contacted after 5 days of the company not receiving and turns out, LG system maintenance isn't sending any emails right now (I work in tech and now how big of a disruption this would be so I'm not buying it that their emails have been down for 2 weeks now).įinally got through to Executive Services yesterday on the phone (after 2 hours), and she said she took care of everything and got me scheduled for the fix. Contacted them to fix the email, said it would take 3-5 business days for approval. I've been going through LG runarounds since 4/22 and when I finally got them to send an authorization letter, they sent it to the wrong email.
